Eastern Square purchased the freehold investment of a three storey building leased to Focus DIY and HP computer company, with ten residential apartments in the affluent town of Upminster.
Planning was secured for Food Retail use, together with some external changes to the building and the conversion of the first floor office space, to provide a further ten residential apartments.
An agreement was then reached with the Local Authority to lease the adjacent council owned car park for 120 spaces and the store was then sold onto Aldi Food Stores.
